Important Info About Setting Up Your Bilingual Birdies License

What’s the region that you’d like to operate in?*

With your license you'll be granted permission to "do business as" or DBA Bilingual Birdies in your general region. If you're located in the US, please state which county you'll be primarily focussed on so that we can list you as such on our site and drive customers to you. If you're outside of the US, please list the general area inside of your city or town which you'll be operating in. For example, if you're planning to do business in Los Angeles, California, you'd need to select a specific part of Los Angeles, such as Hollywood. So you would be Bilingual Birdies Hollywood.

If you don’t already have a registered business name, we require that you register your business under any name that you select, which should not be affiliated with Bilingual Birdies. PREPARE & SUBMIT YOUR VIDEO:

Step 1: Listen to the below audio file of the Wheels on the Bus in the language you are applying to teach in.

Step 2: Watch the below puppetry video in the language you are applying to teach in.

Step 3: Practice replicating both the song and the puppetry video. For the sing you can use musical accompaniment with a hand drum, maracas, clapping, a guitar, ukulele, or keyboard if possible. It is not required that you play a musical instrument. Hand percussion is fine! For puppetry you can use a sock on your arm or just your hand!

Step 4: Record a simple video with your cell phone or computer of yourself in the language you are applying to teach in. Imagine that you are in front of a room of three-year-olds, and please introduce yourself in the language, tell us what you did today in the language, begin teaching the Wheels on the Bus, and transition into the puppetry routine in the language. Save the video as YourName_AuditionVideo_YourCity and upload it here. The whole video should be about 8 minutes long or less! (If you are applying in more that one language, please make one video per language.)
